Courses by BIBS Accounting

Accounting and finance require focus, but they don’t have to be stressful. Many students struggle not because the material is impossible, but because they try to learn everything at once.

One of the most effective strategies is to break topics into smaller pieces. Instead of tackling an entire chapter in one sitting, focus on one concept—such as assets, liabilities, or cash flow—and master it before moving on. Short, focused study sessions often produce better results than long, exhausting ones.

Practice is essential. Accounting is a skill, not just theory. Working through examples, practice questions, and real-world scenarios helps reinforce what you’ve learned. If something doesn’t make sense at first, that’s normal. Repetition is part of the learning process.

Lastly, avoid comparing your progress to others. Everyone learns at a different pace. Focus on understanding, not speed. With consistency and the right support, accounting and finance become much more manageable—and even enjoyable.
